Christmas frogs

Fairy Frog

Christmas Pud anyone?

Christmas cards

Here are a couple of Christmas Frogs to bring seasonal cheer.

Looking at the Fairy Frog here has made me think I'm going to give her a little golden crown.

Heralding Christ's birth

Pen on A3 paper

This started as a little sketch to design a greeting card for Christmas.

I found more designs I liked and ended up filling up the entire page!

I used the Seraphim image for a lino printed card together with the words the angels sang when heralding Christ's birth "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill toward men".

Before Christmas I went to the PreRaphelite Exhibition at Tate Britain and was struck by the red Seraphim on the wall tapestry.  Have you ever noticed the pink Seraphim painted on the Octagon ceiling in Ely Cathedral?
